Worship and Creative Arts

To make much of our Lord and Savior is the heart's desire of our Worship & Creative Arts ministry.  Thus we strive to create moments where individuals can have an encounter with the "King of the universe," to bring us closer to Him.  That takes time and sacrifice which is what the Lord demands of us for it to be “true worship."  If it does not cost us anything, then it is not worthy of Him. We feel that this can be done in a variety of ways....
From the adult choir, to the orchestra, and the rest of the musicians, from the technical teams, to the front office we are committed to “making the sacrifice” that is worthy of His praise. Ultimately we are committed to sharing Christ's love through the arts during our worship services and beyond. From our heart to yours, for HIS!

Choir and Orchestra

Our adult choir meets every Wednesday night at 6:15 to 7:30 PM. All are welcome, from high school to Heaven, to be a part of this hard working group. This is a great place to find community at SSFBC.
Our orchestra is made up of people who are proficient at their instrument. We would love to add you to this group.  They meet every Sunday morning at 7:45 AM to prepare for the 8:30 service that morning. Occasionally we rehearse on Wednesday nights along with the choir.

Contemporary Worship

"Wherever you've been and whatever you've done.
Come as you are, and come find His love."

This is the bridge to one of our favorite worship songs. This also is the best invitation we can think of to invite you to join us at either 8:30 or 11:00 AM in the chapel. Our purpose is to follow the prompting of the Holy Spirit directing us to worship our Lord Jesus Christ for the glory of the Father.

Tech Team

The Tech Team is the behind the scenes, technical support ministry of SSFBC. The purpose of the ministry is to carry the Gospel of Jesus Christ to our visually-driven, ever-changing world through the use of technology and media, and to equip other ministries of the church to use digital and electronic media as a worship and outreach tool.
From the technical side, the Tech Team handles the audio, song lyrics, lighting, sermon recording, photography, videoing, and more. From the spiritual side, the Tech Team’s goal is to deliver content to the congregation and community with clarity, highest quality, excellence, and minimal distraction.
